The Soft Dome is an installation designed for the National Museum of Singapore. It will take place in the Rotunda space of the museum, for the children's season on the theme of "connections" in June and July 2017. We propose an inverted dome. The aim is to connect adults and children with the architecture around them. We want visitors to feel the heritage of the museum through its architectural codes, in an inverted dome – an immersive and hemispherical installation, like a mirror of the dome above. We propose to play with the architectural codes of the place in a contemporary way by inverting the dome.
